Our Faculty

The Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society of Ann Arbor, Michigan, is dedicated to the advancement of our profession. To that end, we have done a great deal of work and continue to help in the advancement of techniques and training of new professionals. Two of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society's founding physicians wrote a textbook in the late 1980s, which was one of the first written on the subject. What followed was a plan to offer a course on the subject, and it grew from there.

At that time, ultrasound was not used in musculoskeletal diagnostics. Over time, we found we were becoming more well-known for this work, and various locations would offer to be the local host for our next meeting. We have had meetings in many states in the US, as well as in many countries around the world. Our physicians have broad expertise. Our meetings feature both lectures and hands-on sessions, showing those new to this subset of radiology how to use it and understand what they are looking at.
